Thanks to a major renovation the Grade II listed Holyhead Market Hall, is now a vibrant, sustainable library and local history centre located in Holyhead, Anglesey. The market hall built in 1855 had lain derelict for more than a decade before work began to transform it into a library.
Basingstoke College of Technology wanted a complete upgrade of their old dated learning resource centre to give students a light and modern library design complete with digital resources.
The new Daventry Library has been officially opened by Northampton North MP Michael Ellis. The library is the result of a successful collaboration between Daventry District Council and Northamptonshire County Council.
The redevelopment of this busy University Library has created a leading 21st century facility for students at the centre of the Canterbury Campus.
The newly refurbished restored and redecorated Grade 2 listed Lichfield Street Central Library and 1960’s converted Art Gallery now provide an outstanding, modern facility incorporating the library.
