The simple rectangular aesthetic of ITO gives this library shelving system a distictive presence. Each bay appears independent; framed by a gap that gives the bold structure a distinctively spacious appearance.
Based entirely on single-sided shelving bays, the ITO system allows almost limitless layout options. Free from the need to specify starter and add-on bays, the system is perfectly flexible for layout changes or future expansion.
The shelf section is an elegant ‘wing’ profile; with a back-stop and taper to the front edge, giving a slender blade-like appearance from the front. The focus is on the book.
A choice of end panels can provide the perfect finish. Panel options are harmonious to the frame structure and include sandblasted glass, wood and micro-perforated steel. Bays can have an ‘open’ or ‘closed’ frame structure. Integrated storage and display units enable periodicals to be displayed face-out for impact, whilst providing storage behind the lift-up door; keeping stock tidy and accessible. CD, DVD, album and graphic novel browser shelves ensure functionality of the system can be achieved without compromising style.
